Laura Pohl is a research associate and PhD candidate in the DFG-funded research project „Characteristics of Digital Technologies and Gender Inequality at Work“, based at the Professorship of Sociology and Empirical Social Research, Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg.

Her research interests lie in the sociology of the labour market, education, family, and health.

Laura holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from the University of Augsburg and Lund University, Sweden, and completed the Double Degree Master’s Programme in Sociology and Social Research at the University of Bamberg and the University of Trento, Italy.

During her studies, she gained research experience at the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB), the Bavarian State Institute for Higher Education Research and Planning (IHF), and the International Institute for Empirical Social Economics (INIFES).
